Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Effective date: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Bookazoid, including the Bookazoid website, signup and early access programs, beta application, web application, documentation, support, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Bookazoid is operated by Metalprotekt LLC (“Bookazoid”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, using the Service, or using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Bookazoid for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Definitions
“Customer” means the business or organization that creates, owns, or uses a Bookazoid workspace.
“User” means an individual authorized to access or use the Service, including Customer administrators, staff, invitees, and beta users.
“Customer Data” means information, content, records, files, configurations, booking information, guest information, property information, invoices, operational records, and other materials submitted to, stored in, generated through, or processed by the Service on behalf of a Customer.
“Guest Data” means personal information about guests, occupants, travelers, visitors, payers, or similar individuals entered into Bookazoid by or on behalf of a Customer.
“Beta Service” means a feature, module, integration, or service identified as beta, preview, pilot, early access, evaluation, experimental, or pre-release.
“Order Form” means an order, invoice, checkout confirmation, plan confirmation, email, or other written commercial document that specifies pricing, subscription terms, discounts, or other Customer-specific terms.
3. Business use only
Bookazoid is intended for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into these Terms, and authorized to use the Service for the relevant business or organization.
Bookazoid is not intended for personal, household, or consumer use.
4. The Service
Bookazoid provides property-management and operational software that may include features for properties and units, bookings and availability, guest records, pricing, taxes and fees, invoices, housekeeping, owner reporting, roles and permissions, integrations, calendar feeds, exports, audit records, and related workflows.
Features may change over time. Availability of a feature may depend on plan, region, beta status, technical limitations, or separate commercial terms.
5. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or by Users you authorize, except to the extent caused by Bookazoid’s breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Customer administrators are responsible for granting, reviewing, and revoking User access and permissions.
You must notify us promptly at mail@bookazoid.com if you reasonably suspect unauthorized access to your account.
6. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy, legality, and quality of Customer Data;
- obtaining any permissions, notices, consents, or other legal bases required to process Customer Data;
- configuring properties, rates, taxes, fees, policies, invoices, and operational rules correctly for your business;
- reviewing calculations, documents, reports, and outputs before relying on them;
- complying with laws applicable to your accommodation business, guests, employees, contractors, taxes, accounting, licensing, and reporting;
- maintaining appropriate internal access controls and User permissions; and
- maintaining any business records or exports you are legally required to keep outside the Service.
7. Bookazoid is not legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice
Bookazoid provides software tools and configurable calculations. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for deciding which rules apply to your business and for verifying the configuration and results you use. A feature that supports a tax, fee, invoice, policy, or reporting workflow does not mean that the workflow is legally correct in every jurisdiction.
8. Customer Data ownership
As between Bookazoid and the Customer, the Customer retains its rights in Customer Data.
The Customer grants Bookazoid a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, display, and otherwise use Customer Data only as necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Addendum where applicable.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies a Customer or individual to understand and improve the Service.
We do not acquire ownership of Customer Data merely because it is stored or processed through Bookazoid.
9. Personal data and Data Processing Addendum
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information for our own purposes.
Where Bookazoid processes personal data on behalf of a Customer as a processor, service provider, or equivalent role, our Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) applies automatically and forms part of these Terms unless the parties have signed a separate data processing agreement that expressly supersedes it.
Our current list of subprocessors is available at Subprocessors.
10. Hosting and international processing
Bookazoid is operated by Metalprotekt LLC in Belarus. Our primary production infrastructure is hosted by DigitalOcean in the United States. Customer Data may therefore be stored and processed in the United States and may be accessed by authorized Bookazoid personnel from Belarus for legitimate Service operations.
Applicable international-transfer safeguards are described in the DPA and Privacy Policy.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- upload or process data you have no right to process;
- attempt unauthorized access to the Service, another account, or another Customer’s data;
- interfere with, overload, disrupt, probe, scan, or attack the Service or its infrastructure;
- introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful automated traffic;
- circumvent security, access, usage, or technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly prohibits that restriction;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product using non-public Bookazoid materials or protected Service functionality; or
- use the Service in a manner that creates material security, legal, or operational risk for Bookazoid, our providers, Customers, or other users.
12. Sensitive and regulated information
Bookazoid is not designed as a general-purpose repository for highly sensitive or specially regulated information.
Customers should not enter special-category, health, biometric, government-identification, payment-card, or similarly sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for a lawful accommodation-related purpose and the Customer has implemented the safeguards required by applicable law.
Full payment card numbers must not be entered into free-text notes or other Bookazoid fields not specifically designed for payment-card processing.
13. Integrations and third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including authentication, calendar, communications, infrastructure, analytics, or other providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our reasonable control.
If a Customer enables an integration, export, webhook, calendar feed, or similar feature, the Customer authorizes the resulting transfer of Customer Data to the selected recipient and is responsible for ensuring that use of the recipient is lawful and appropriate.
14. Intellectual property
Bookazoid and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, documentation, design, trademarks, branding, and other materials provided by Bookazoid, excluding Customer Data.
Subject to these Terms and any applicable plan restrictions, we grant the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for its internal business purposes during the applicable subscription or beta period.
15. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback about Bookazoid, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or payment, provided that we do not identify you publicly without permission.
16. Publicity
We will not identify you as a Bookazoid Customer or use your name, logo, trademark, testimonial, or case study in public marketing without your permission.
17. Beta and early access
Beta Services are experimental and may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
During Early Beta, we may make the Service available without charge or with special limits or conditions. Free beta access does not create a right to continued free use after paid plans are introduced.
You should not rely on a Beta Service as the sole system for critical legal, accounting, tax, safety, or business-continuity records.
18. Fees and payment
If you purchase a paid plan or service, the applicable fees, currency, billing frequency, payment terms, and subscription conditions will be stated in the relevant Order Form, checkout flow, invoice, or plan terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
- fees are due according to the applicable billing terms;
- fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed;
- prices exclude taxes, duties, levies, and similar governmental charges; and
- the Customer is responsible for applicable transaction or purchase taxes other than taxes imposed on Bookazoid’s net income.
19. Founding Member and early-adopter offers
Founding Member discounts, early-adopter pricing, beta rewards, lifetime discounts, or similar offers apply only when confirmed by Bookazoid in writing.
Unless the written offer says otherwise, such benefits:
- apply only to the approved Customer account;
- are not transferable;
- may require continued compliance with these Terms and timely payment once paid plans begin;
- may exclude add-ons, third-party costs, premium services, implementation, consulting, custom development, or future products; and
- apply for the commercial lifetime of the relevant Bookazoid plan or offering, not the lifetime of any individual or company.
If a relevant plan is discontinued or materially replaced, we may migrate the discount to a reasonably comparable successor offering or end the discount where no reasonable successor exists.
20. Renewal and cancellation
If a paid subscription renews automatically, the applicable plan or Order Form will state the billing frequency and renewal terms.
You may cancel a paid subscription using available account settings, if provided, or by contacting mail@bookazoid.com. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
21. Service availability and changes
We aim to operate Bookazoid reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
The Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, security work, infrastructure or provider outages, software defects, beta changes, force majeure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue features. For material changes affecting paid Customers, we will provide reasonable notice where practical.
22. Backups and data export
We may maintain backups for operational and disaster-recovery purposes. Customers remain responsible for keeping any separate copies, exports, accounting records, tax records, or other records required for their own business continuity or legal obligations.
Where export tools are available, their format and scope may depend on the relevant feature and plan.
23. Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of:
- a material breach of these Terms;
- overdue payment;
- security, abuse, fraud, or legal risk;
- use that threatens the Service or other users;
- a legal or regulatory requirement;
- the end of beta access; or
- an urgent need to protect Customer Data or Service integrity.
Where practical and legally permitted, we will provide notice before or promptly after suspension.
24. Termination
You may stop using Bookazoid at any time and may terminate a paid subscription according to its applicable cancellation terms.
We may terminate access for material breach, persistent non-payment, unlawful or harmful use, serious security risk, or discontinuation of the Service.
On termination, rights to use the Service end. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning accrued payment obligations, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and dispute terms.
Customer Data handling after termination is subject to the DPA, applicable law, technical backup cycles, and any applicable export or retention terms.
25. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. Each party will use such information only for the relationship under these Terms and will protect it using reasonable care.
Confidential information does not include information that is public through no breach of these Terms, was lawfully known without confidentiality obligations, was lawfully received from another source, or was independently developed without use of the other party’s confidential information.
A party may disclose confidential information where required by law, subject to lawful notice where permitted.
26. Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we have the authority to enter into these Terms.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every legal or operational requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
27. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service, even if advised that such loss was possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookazoid’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service and these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the fees paid or payable by the Customer to Bookazoid for the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- USD 100 if the Customer has not paid fees during that period.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
28. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, the Customer will defend and indemnify Bookazoid against third-party claims arising from the Customer’s unlawful Customer Data, unlawful use of the Service, or material breach of Sections 6, 11, or 12, except to the extent the claim was caused by Bookazoid.
Bookazoid will provide reasonable notice of an indemnified claim and reasonable cooperation at the Customer’s expense. The Customer may not settle a claim in a manner that admits wrongdoing by Bookazoid or imposes non-monetary obligations on Bookazoid without our consent.
29. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Belarus, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through direct business discussions.
Unless mandatory law requires another forum, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Belarus.
30. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, business model, law, security requirements, or commercial practices.
For material changes affecting existing paid Customers, we will provide reasonable notice where practical or legally required. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
31. General terms
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent, except as part of a permitted corporate reorganization or sale of substantially all relevant assets. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, or sale of our business or assets.
These Terms, the applicable Order Form, the DPA where applicable, and any other document expressly incorporated by reference form the agreement between the parties regarding the Service. If there is a conflict, the Order Form controls over these Terms for its specific commercial terms, and the DPA controls for processing of Customer Personal Data.
32. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to mail@bookazoid.com.
