We’re thrilled to announce a game-changing feature for our Advanced Tier users: Flexible Roles. This powerful addition lets you craft custom roles tailored to your property’s unique workflows, giving you unprecedented control over how your team interacts with the PMS.
With Flexible Roles, you decide exactly what each team member can — or can’t — do across every corner of the app. Need a role that allows front desk staff to create and view bookings but not modify invoices? Done. Want housekeeping to update room statuses without touching guest details? Consider it handled.
Roles are CRUD-oriented (Create, Read, Update, Delete), meaning you can fine-tune permissions down to individual actions. For example, a “Booking Manager” role might include permissions to create and update bookings but restrict deleting them or accessing financial reports.
But wait — there’s more. Users can be assigned multiple roles, and if needed, you can override specific permissions for individuals. Imagine a scenario where your assistant manager needs temporary access to delete bookings during a system cleanup. Instead of creating a new role, simply tweak their existing permissions.
